Attending and presenting research at conferences is encouraged. If you are planning on attending a conference, please review the time off policies.

Conference Travel Considerations & Support
Attending conferences can be expensive and please discuss with your mentor whether they have resources to pay for meeting registration, travel, and lodging. Many conferences also have travel awards so be sure to investigate this and apply early. The medical student research program does not have funds to support conference travel or registration.
