GSI 15th Annual Research Symposium: Winners
The Genome Science Institute held its 15th Annual Research Symposium on November 16th. The symposium was greatly attended by students, post-doctoral associates, staff, and faculty. The GSI team thanks all of those who participated from those presenting in the Trainees’ Lightning Talks, Faculty Talks, and the Poster Session.
Congratulations to Andre Krunic (Ph.D. Candidate in the Blusztajn Lab) in the Trainees’ Lightning Talk portion and Thomas Liontis (Ph.D. Candidate in the Grishok Lab) from the Poster Session in winning the Grand Research Pilot Prizes. Each prize entails of a $12.5K award completely allocated for spending at one of the BUSM Cores or a $10K award for allocation towards genomic research reagents. A special thank you to the varying vendors in support of the Genomic collaborations across the Charles River and Medical campuses.
Trainees’ Lightning Talk speakers and top ranking posters are also receiving $100 honorariums for their selection.
