Emergency Medicine Fellowship Training Programs
The Department of Emergency Medicine offers post-graduate training programs in several subspecialties. In addition to the specialty curriculum provided by the division, program directors, core faculty, and all of the fellows in our department participate in professional development and scholarship research training in our monthly “EM Academy”. Fellows also participate in 2 additional hours of professional development monthly (alongside our faculty) and have individual and group coaching with several EM Vice Chairs.
The EM Academy topics include Research Skills, Research in Progress, Bedside Education, The Elevator Pitch, Landing your Dream Job, Writing, Publishing and Peer Review, Time Management, Feedback and Difficulty Conversations Workshop.
We offer fellowship programs in Emergency Medical Services, Advanced Emergency Ultrasonography, Emergency Medicine Administration, and Global and Local Health Equity. Fellows are appointed at the Instructor or Assistant Professor Rank and considered junior faculty in our department.
