FUNDING INFORMATION: The minimum award is $750,001. There is no maximum price limit for the instrument; however, the maximum award is $2M.
The Associate Dean of Research office, will facilitate an internal pre-submission process to foster collaborative proposals and increase the success rate for the University. This pre-submission process requires that applicants fill out an online form designed to inform Dr. Antman, Dean of Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and Provost of your interest in applying for an S10 High-End Instrumentation Grant.
This process is not intended to prevent submission of applications, but to recognize that when multiple applications are being submitted, it may not be possible to centrally support all of them at a competitive level from the Provost’s or the Deans’ resources, providing the opportunity to identify alternative sources of funding.

FUNDING INFORMATION: Award budget between $200,000-$600,000. There is no maximum limit on the cost of the instrument, but the maximum award is $600,000. S10 awards are only for the cost of the instrument, so indirect costs cannot be requested. Award project is for one year.
