Biography

Microbiologist with extensive experience in bacteriology, immunology, molecularbiology, animal model of bacterial infection, in vivo and in vitro cell assays. Technical skills include detection of bacterial pathogens, serotyping, microbial inhibitory concencentartions (MIC) of clinical samples under GCP (good clinical practices) guidelines, microarrays, Luminex based multiplex immuno assays, protein expression, purification and characterization.

Specialties: Bacterial biofilms and pathogenesis, anaerobic bacteria, pro bacteria, gene discovery, immune response.
