Biography

Steve (Sung) Kwon, MD, MPH, FACS is a board-certified, fellowship-trained surgical oncologist. He specializes in the management of locally advanced and metastatic cancers of the abdomen, including cytoreductive surgery and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC). Dr. Kwon is an expert in performing both traditional and minimally invasive surgeries for tumors in the digestive tract (including stomach, small and large intestines, appendix, liver), malignant tumors of soft tissue (sarcoma) and cutaneous malignancies (skin cancer) including melanoma, squamous cell cancer and Merkel cell carcinoma.
