Biography

Dr. Shahzad Hassan, MD is an Internal Medicine Hospitalist at MGB Newton Wellesley Hospital, Newton, MA and Boston Medical Center, Boston, MA. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Brookdale University Hospital, Brooklyn, NY. Previously, he was an Internal Medicine Hospitalist at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center, Florence, SC and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, Florence Campus. Currently, he is attending Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine earning his MS in Clinical Research. Additionally, he is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, American College Physician, American Medical Association, and Society of Hospital Medicine.
