Rochelle Woods, MD
Assistant Professor, Psychiatry
Biography
I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from Northwestern University and then a master’s degree in general psychology from Pepperdine University. My medical education was completed at the University of Illinois in Chicago and afterward, I pursued specialty training at Brown University, in both neurology and psychiatry. I returned to my hometown to complete fellowships at University of California, Los Angeles in geriatric psychiatry and cognitive and behavioral neurology. I am board certified in psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
I enjoy working with patients representing all aspects of psychiatry, however my particular clinical interests include dementia and cognitive disorders, brain-behavior disorders, and psychiatric symptoms that arise in late-life.
