Biography

Dr. Bogdanovic is a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist who serves as medical director of child and adolescent psychiatry at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and as Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine (CAMED). She treats childhood psychiatric disorders and is passionate about providing care for the underserved while teaching the next generation of psychiatrists. She is the child psychiatry clerkship site director and pediatric neurology site director for the child and adolescent psychiatry rotation. In addition, she supervises clinicians from various Boston HealthNet Community Health Centers and the BU Danielsen Institute.

She also provides consultation to the BMC CATALYST (Center for Addiction Treatment for AdoLescent/Young adults who use SubsTances) Clinic, a program designed to treat young people aged 25 and under who are struggling with substance use, or who have experimented with drugs and alcohol and may be at risk for developing an addiction. Dr. Bogdanovic additionally provides coverage for the B.E.S.T. (Boston Emergency Service Team), a 24-hour emergency services program for people requiring acute psychiatric intervention and providing a comprehensive, highly integrated system of crisis evaluation and treatment services to the greater Boston area.
