Biography
Molly Cohen-Osher, MD, MMedEd, is the Assistant Dean of Medical Education for Curriculum and Instructional Design as well as the Family Medicine Director of Medical Student Education. Dr. Cohen-Osher received her medical degree at UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her family medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin and MacNeal Family Medicine Residency (University of Chicago affiliate) programs, and a Faculty Development Fellowship at Tufts. She received her Master’s in Medical Education at University of Dundee, Scotland.
Prior to her current role, Dr. Cohen-Osher was the Family Medicine Clerkship Director, chair of the school’s Clerkship Curriculum Subcommittee and was course director for the Fundamentals of Learning and Teaching Methods course in the Master’s in Health Sciences Education program at BUSM as well as for the Teaching Practicum course in the Master’s in Health Professions Education Program at MGH IHP. She is a noted presenter at conferences and has extensive teaching experience in a variety of roles. Her focus is on creating learning experiences that foster active learning, teamwork and the skills to build meaningful therapeutic alliances with patients.
