Biography
Michelle Bovin, PhD is a Staff Psychologist at the Behavioral Science Division, National Center for PTSD, at VA Boston Healthcare System, Boston, MA, and an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Bovin’s research focuses on two complementary areas: the development, validation, and application of trauma-informed assessment tools and the improvement of access to care for patients with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She has published in such high impact/highly regarded journals as JAMA Network Open, Psychological Assessment, Psychological Bulletin. Her research is currently funded by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs.
