Biography

My laboratory studies the virus-host interaction. We take a variety of approaches from genetic to systems biology to biochemistry and molecular biology. We are studying how viruses take over the cellular protein synthesis apparatus, how cells effectively fight virus infection, and how the host responds to infection with viruses that cause hemorrhagic fever.
