Biography
Jill Panuzio Scott, Ph.D. is the Clinical Director of the Center for Returning Veterans at the VA Boston Healthcare System and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. In these roles, she delivers empirically based psychological assessment and treatment to previously deployed veterans, provides supervision to psychology trainees, and maintains involvement in ongoing research. Dr. Scott received her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2011. She completed a clinical internship at the Boston Consortium in Clinical Psychology and a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Center for Post traumatic Stress Disorder, VA Boston Healthcare System. Her research and clinical interests include enhancing motivation for and engagement in mental health treatment, empirically supported assessment and treatment for veterans with dual diagnoses, and psychopathology-based risk factors for aggressive behavior.
