Biography

Huihong Xu, MD is an Assistant Professor of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine and Chief Pathologist in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital. At BUSM she is also a previous teaching fellow and a current lab instructor of gross pathology and teaching instructor of general pathology. In her career, she is a two time Chief Resident and Excellent Student of the Year. For the past six years she has been Chief of Anatomic Pathology at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital. Dr. Xu has given numerous presentations and written many articles and abstracts, but she is perhaps most notable for her extensive involvement on six different medical committees including the Committee on Admission at BUSM.
