Biography

Colin D Marchant, MD, is Director of the Pediatric Vaccine Research Center and the Principle Investigator of the Clinical Immunization Safety Assessment Center at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Marchant is also an Adjunct Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Tufts University School of Medicine. He graduated from Acadia University in Nova Scotia and received his medical degree from McGill University in Montreal. Dr. Marchant completed his residency in the Department of Medicine at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, and was chief resident in Pediatrics at the Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Marchant is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric infectious diseases. He has written numerous original articles, book chapters, and reviews.
