Biography

Ayelet Shapira-Daniels, MD is currently a 1st-year cardiology fellow at Boston Medical Center. She graduated from Hadassah Medical Center/Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel and then completed a T32 research fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She then completed internal medicine residency and served as a chief medical resident (2023-2024) at Boston Medical Center. During residency, she participated in the Framingham Heart Resident Research Pathway and served as co-chair of the Women in Internal Medicine resident committee at BMC. Her clinical and research focuses include cardiovascular health disparities faced by women and gender minorities, including LGBTQ persons.
