Angela H. Jackson, MD

Associate Professor, Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine

Biography

I am interested in all aspects of medical education. In particular, I am interested in helping to hone teaching skills for teachers – residents, chief residents and faculty. Up until recently my main focus in curriculum development has been in Primary Care resident education, with special emphasis on creating curricula that will allow residents to develop the skills necessary to become leaders in the health care, focusing on underserved patients. Initiatives included: Integrating public health and mental health into residency training; leadership skills for physicians; patient advocacy; developing professional development plans as a resident or junior faculty.
