Verasonics Vantage 256™ Ultrasound System

The Verasonics Vantage 256™ ultrasound system provides a highly flexible platform for research ultrasound. The device comes with different channel options, a broad frequency range, and capability of multi-channel arbitrary waveform generation. The Verasonics systems are easily programmable, which utilize MATLAB® interface and has over 500 example scripts. The Verasonics system is an ideal tool for pre-clinical ultrasound research.
Ning Hua, PhD, is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Vantage 256™ ultrasound system. All new projects must first be discussed with Dr. Hua to determine feasibility and initiate planning of experiments. For extended projects, we will train new investigators and provide expert consultation.
