Born and raised in the Midwest (Wisconsin, Michigan, Missour, Kansas) United States. Attended college in Iowa, Medical School University of Kansas, Internships internal medicine and surgery, Residency Neurological Surgery State University of New York (Syracuse), Faculty SUNY ’94-’09, Faculty BUSM ’09-Present. Married. Two children (adult) working and living in NYC. Spouse is sociologist with interest in’at-risk’ populations.
