The Dean’s Office is pleased to announce that Meenakshi Lakshminarayanan, MBA, has been named Distinguished Staff of the Month for July.

Meenakshi is the administrative director for the Center for Regenerative Medicine (CReM). She joined the BU community as a researcher in November 2008.

Her nominators say, “Meenakshi is the glue that holds CReM together and she views CReM as her baby – a very personal and proud approach that really propels our success.

“She tirelessly works with all investigators on their pre-award plans, and helps to guide 65 scientists of varying levels across each of our 10 PI-led teams. She mentors trainees and junior faculty as they learn lab management and financial planning skills.

“Meenakshi is a kind and humble person who is liked and respected by all who work with her.”
