The Dean’s Office is pleased to announce that Julie White, MS, CHCP, FSACME, has been named Distinguished Staff of the Month for November.

Julie is director of the Barry M. Manuel Center for Continuing Education. She joined the BU/Boston Medical Center community in May 1995.

Her nominators say, “Julie’s exceptional leadership, dedication, initiative and performance have made a significant impact to the center’s and school’s mission and values.

“She is a visionary in the continuing education (CE) world, showing how a university-based CE program can successfully compete with for-profit medical education companies.

“Julie goes out of her way to ensure her team feels celebrated and valued.”
