The Faculty Affairs Office is pleased to announce that Assistant Professor of Neurology Ariel Marks, MD, has been named Distinguished Faculty of the Month for May.

Ariel Marks, MD

Marks returned to the BU/BMC community as faculty in September 2020. He serves as director of quality improvement for the department of neurology and was appointed director of the neuromuscular fellowship program in 2023.

His nominators say, “Dr. Marks NEVER misses an opportunity to teach. He truly makes education of students, residents and patients his top priority.

“He truly makes everyone feel welcome and heard- students, staff, and patients alike.

“Dr. Marks encourages us to pursue our passions and genuinely celebrates our successes.”
