Clerkship Curriculum Subcommittee

The Clerkship Curriculum Subcommittee (CCS) is one of the MEC’s standing subcommittees. The CCS is responsible for:

  • Implementing the decisions of the MEC
  • Integrating the curriculum of the third and fourth years
  • Integrating the curriculum over all four years with the Preclerkship Curriculum Subcommittee

Committee Members

The CCS is comprised of the clinical clerkship directors, one selective director, 1 rotation director representing the fourth-year curriculum, a representative from Kaiser regional campus, 4 students (one voting member from each class, with alternates). The Associate Dean of Medical Education, the assistant deans of Medical Education for Affiliated Sites and Curriculum & Instructional Design, associate and assistant clerkship directors, and other selective and rotation directors and assistant directors are ex officio, non-voting members. The PCS Chair, a representative of the PA Program, Registrar, the Associate Dean of Student Affairs, and Director of Enhancement will serve as ex officio non-voting members.
