ISFAR strives to provide timely and unbiased assessments of emerging research related to the consumption of alcohol and to put new findings into perspective considering previous research. ISFAR will attempt to dispel erroneous and conflicting messages related to alcohol, messages that often confuse the public as well as other scientists and government officials.

The group will regularly issue critiques of new scientific publications. These reports can be assessed without charge via www.bu.edu/alcohol-forum.edu or www.alcoholforum4profs.org .
