Biography

Stephen Brecher, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine and the Director of the Microbiology Laboratories of the Boston VA Healthcare System. Dr. Brecher gives numerous speeches about microbiology, specifically C. difficile Infections and antibiotic resistance, and has been honored as an American Society of Microbiology (ASM) Foundation Speaker. As a lecturer, he teaches second year medical and dental students in the Biology of Disease course.
