Biography

Orly Moshe-Lilie completed her Bachelor's in Neuroscience at UC Riverside, CA. She attended medical school at Oregon Health & Science University, then continued to complete her residency training in Neurology, as well as her fellowship training in Neuromuscular Medicine and Nerve Conduction and Electromyogram (NCS/EMG) studies, review of neuromuscular pathology, skin biopsies and more.

Since joining the Boston VA Health Center Neurology department in 2021 as a neuromuscular faculty, Orly has engaged in care of neuromuscular patients with particular interest in hereditary and acquired neuropathies, including as CIDP and it's mimics, small fiber and autonomic neuropathies including acquired (AL) and hereditary (transthyretin) amyloidosis, and published several articles as first author in peer-reviewed journals such as Amyloid, Neurology, and Journal of Neuromuscular disorders. Also, she founded a new autonomic laboratory at Boston VA Medical Center.

In addition, Orly is greatly involved in education of neurology staff as well as resident and medical students rotating in neurology, and has been promoted and currently hold several positions as VA site director for medical student education as well as director of staff education in the neurology department, for which she pioneered a year-long CME accredited lecture series available to VA neurology and VISN1(New England) neurology staff. Beyond that, she enjoys spending time dancing Argentinean Tango, sketching and designing, cooking, antiquing, and watching Sci-Fi.
