Biography

Melisa Ruiz-Gutierrez, MD, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. Before arriving at the university, Dr. Ruiz-Gutierrez was an Instructor at Harvard Medical School. Throughout her career, she has served as a research assistant and associate for organizations in the Boston and Seattle area. Dr. Ruiz-Gutierrez has lectured on the TGFb pathway, Shwachman Diamond Syndrome, and bone marrow failure.
