Isabel N R Morais, MD

Biography

Isabel Morais, MD is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine and chief of the maternity department at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center. She has had a long career as an attending physician and lecturer at institutes such as Tufts University, where she is currently an Associate Professor, Yale University, and Harvard. Dr. Morais is one of the founding board members of the Connecticut Health Investigative Team (C-HIT), a team of journalists dedicated to reporting about health and safety in Connecticut and the surrounding area. Her research interests are women’s health needs and community healthcare.
