Biography

As a neonatologist with a research focus in placental biology, I have developed a unique niche to explore how the intrauterine environment can be optimized to improve the heath of neonates. In my faculty research program at Boston University School of Medicine, I am studying various placental diseases to examine how altered physiology at the maternal-fetal interface can impact neonatal outcomes.
