Anna Hohler, MD, Director of the Center for Military and Post Deployment Health, marked Veteran’s Day with a presentation at the Museum of Science on health issues that affect military members and Veterans. The presentation, which took place on the Museum’s Current Science and Technology State, included an overview of the common military health issues and a question and answer session with Museum visitors.

The fourth annual “Joining Forces” conference took place at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine on November 3. The event drew more than 150 attendees from across both BU campuses, the VA Boston Healthcare System, and the broader community. Boston University was one of the original hosts of Joining Forces, a nationwide initiative established by First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden in 2011.
