Join the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine community for a virtual research panel featuring our researchers in Infectious Diseases.
As the COVID-19 pandemic has shown, the need to rapidly detect, study and respond to infectious diseases is critical. Our panelists will focus on the cutting edge of infectious diseases like COVID-19, Ebola, Yellow Fever and others. This research, including the work being done in the National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories (NEIDL), seeks to better understand and to ultimately develop treatments or vaccines to prevent these diseases from becoming the next pandemic.Introduction: Karen Antman, MD, BUMC Provost, Dean, Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine
