On January 28th, 2013, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion celebrated the birth of Martin Luther King, Jr.

 

On Decemeber 17th, 2012, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion welcomed Rabbi Beyo to our campus.

 

On November 2nd, 2012, a concert was held as part of the Boston University Medical College’s new Arts Outreach Initiative. This short video captures some of the music shared that night, and speaks to the importance of the alliance formed by the Medical School and the College of Fine Arts.

 

On October 5th, 2012, Dr. Rafael Ortega, Associate Dean for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, spoke with BUSM Alumnus Dr. Louis Sullivan. Dr. Sullivan is the founder of the Morehouse School of Medicine and served as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under President George Bush, Sr. In this edited interview, Dr. Sullivan speaks about his past in the segregated south, his time at BUSM and gives advice to future generations of physicians.
