Outlook on Diversity

As the brother of a man with disabilities and a career hospital administrator at Boston Medical Center, most recently assigned to Cancer Care Services, I am deeply committed to reducing health care disparities for all people but particularly for those with disabilities and people diagnosed with cancer.

Identifying and reducing barriers for all people who need access to high quality health care is a personal passion.

Academic Interests

Clinical cancer care services operational improvement, bio-specimen archiving; operational improvement in an academic medical center; patient safety; health care disparities for people with disabilities and/or cancer; end-of-life patient care.

Extracurricular Interests

I am married with two teen-aged children.

I am currently serving as Chair of the Board of The Arc of Massachusetts,  an advocacy organization promoting the care and welfare of people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
