Jodie Trainor Named January’s Distinguished Staff of the Month

Jodie Trainor HeadshotThe Dean’s Office is pleased to announce that Jodie Trainor has been named Distinguished Staff of the Month for January.

Jodie is an Administrative & Financial Manager in the Medical Education Office (MEO).  She joined the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine in June 1993 in the Development Office.  After three years of working with donors, Jodie moved to the MEO to work with medical students in the third-year Primary Care clerkship and the Doctoring 2 course and had the dual role of office manager. Over the years, Jodie managed courses and clinical placements for an estimated 3,840 medical students while also supporting the mission, faculty and staff of the MEO.

Her nominators say, “Jodie always is thoughtful and insightful, exceptionally kind, but clear to students, helpful with balance of work and staff needs, hard-working and a genuine kind and good person.

 “Jodie has been the glue that holds the MEO together!”
