Joe Ribeiro Named October’s Distinguished Staff of the Month

The Dean’s Office is pleased to announce that Jose (Joe) M. Ribeiro has been named Distinguished Staff of the Month for October.

The lead custodian in custodial services, Joe joined the BUSM community in November 1993. His nominators say, “Joe goes out of his way to get things done on the Medical Campus, working early in the morning to late at night, setting up classrooms and working events.

“He keeps the medical school a clean and comfortable place to work. Joe plays an important role in supporting students, faculty and staff. Always respectful and professional, his smile and laugh can turn around a bad day.

“Joe is one of the very best!”
