Carla Mazzeo, PhD, Named Distinguished Staff of the Month for June

The Dean’s Office is pleased to announce that Carla Mazzeo, PhD, has been named Distinguished Staff of the Month for June.

Mazzeo is a senior research scientist in gastroenterology who is unusually dedicated to training investigators in exosome biology, characterization purification and troubleshooting in this important new scientific area. Mazzeo’s Spanish heritage gives her an international perspective and creates empathy and inclusion for our diverse BUMC community.
