Teresa Ivarson, MPH, Named October’s Distinguished Staff of the Month

he Dean’s Office is pleased to announce that Teresa Ivarson, MPH, has been named Distinguished Staff of the Month for October.
A member of the BUSM community since 2019, Ms. Ivarson is the clinical coordinator for the PA Program. One nominator said, “Teresa has been impressive in her ability to not only handle tasks but her foresight in predicting things that need to be done and being proactive in getting them done before being asked. She consistently goes above and beyond her job responsibilities.”
Another said, “Teresa is an exemplar of professionalism! It’s made even more obvious under the continued stress of the coronavirus epidemic. She often is the main contact with many of our clinical sites. She connects the students with the preceptors. She handles all situations with the utmost of professionalism.”
Yet another said, “When I saw the email in regards to nominations for this award, I immediately thought of Teresa. The entire faculty of the PA program could not nominate her more strongly. She has been an integral member of the staff especially given all of the many changes that had to be instituted due to COVID.”
