Dr. Mostafa Belghasem has joined the Disease & Therapy (DRx) Curriculum Leadership Team and will serve as the department representative effective April 2109

Dennis Jones, PhD, Assistant Professor of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine, has been awarded the Dahod Assistant Professorship for 2019-2020

PiBS student Guillermo Arroyo-Ataz has joined the Dennis Jones Lab for his thesis research. Guillermo graduated with an undergraduate degree in biotechnology from the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. He has two Master’s of Science degrees- one in Genes, Drugs and Stem Cells from Imperial College London and the other in Biophysics from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

PiBS Student Thomas Bellio has joined the Lee Goldstein Lab. Thomas graduated from Stonehill College in May 2018 with a B.S. in Neuroscience. He loves to play tennis and am a diehard Toronto Maple Leafs fan. In the Goldstein Lab he is studying the biomechanical underpinnings of concussion and traumatic brain injury in the lab and has received the BU NSF NRT Neurophotonics Fellowship

MD/PhD Student Daniel Kirsch has joined the Ann McKee Lab. He got his BA in biochemistry from The City University of New York-Baruch and is currently in BU’s MD/PhD program. In his free time, Daniel enjoys reading, museums, and traveling. Currently, he teaches the gross anatomy lab for Sargent College. Daniel is originally from the Bay Area
