Congratulations Graduating Resident, Yanli Ding for receiving the prestigious Robert Foley, MBA, Award. This honor is given annually to a resident or fellow who “demonstrates the qualities that Mr. Foley brought to work every day.”

Newly implemented Departmental Teaching Awards were given at this year’s Castle Graduation Dinner

  • The committee-driven criteria for the student awards are; collegiality, sharing with fellow-students, knowledge, skills, kindness; Leadership, positive attitude, problem solving, initiatives for improvements; Growth in professional skills, aptitudes and attitudes over the year and being a good team worker, helping others, as well as guiding juniors

    Daniel Remick, MD was invited to the 39th Annual Shock Society Meeting in Austin, Texas, June 11th -14th to give a presentation: “Interviewing Skills and CV Preparation that Stands Out

    Daniel Remick, MD also organized a debate at the 39th Annual Shock Society Meeting titled “Is Coagulopathy an Appropriate Therapeutic Target During Critical Illness?”

    Ivana Delalle will be presenting the results of her team’s work at 11thEuropean Congress of Neuropathology (Bordeaux, France, 6-9 July 2016); “Subcellular changes in BIN1 protein expression in human cortex during the progression of Alzheimer’s disease”

    Deborah Stearns-Kurosawa, PhD has received a re-appointment letter for the Boston University Dual Use Research Review Committee through June 30, 2019
