Pathology Writing Workshop – 2016

Pathology Writing Workshop – 2016

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine will hold a series of writing workshops. These workshops will help students, residents, and faculty prepare papers for submission to the peer-reviewed literature. This writing workshop is part of the strategic plan to improve the academic stature of the department and individual faculty. Additionally, pathology residents will be required to submit a draft of a manuscript to the attending pathologist based on her/his accepted abstract before being reimbursed for travel expenses. There is an expectation that all graduate students will have at least one first author publication prior to their thesis defense.

Format: Each writing workshop will be 30 minutes long and will be held from 12:10 to 12:40.

Target audience: Any member of the department (graduate student, post-doctoral fellow, resident or faculty) who wishes to enhance their scholarly activity will be encouraged to participate.
