Biography

Dr. Cordella is the Associate Director of Quality Strategy at Boston Medical Center (BMC), leading key quality and patient safety initiatives across the BMC Health System (BMCHS). He is program director for the Physician Executive Fellowship in Quality and Patient Safety at BMC. He also functions as a clinical leader on the BMCHS ACO quality committee.

Dr. Cordella completed an academic fellowship in General Internal Medicine and holds an MSc in Health Services Research from the BU School of Public Health, maintaining an academic interest in evaluation and measurement of quality improvement initiatives. He is a member of Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Leadership Alliance and sits on the physician council of Massachusetts Health Quality Partners (MHQP).
