On Thursday, Feb. 21, the Enrichment and Student Affairs Offices presented a staged reading of Anton Chekhov’s short story, “A Doctor’s Visit.”
The American surgeon, pediatrician and obstetrician/gynecologist founded Mother of Mercy Hospital, the only major hospital in the Nuba Mountains, where he now treats up to 400 patients daily.
This student-driven initiative was designed as a way for medical students to interact with faculty and alumni to learn about different career pathways.
