On October 5th, 2012, Dr. Rafael Ortega, Associate Dean for the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs, spoke with BUSM Alumnus Dr. Louis Sullivan. Dr. Sullivan is the founder of the Morehouse School of Medicine and served as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under President George Bush, Sr. In this edited interview, Dr. Sullivan speaks about his past in the segregated south, his time at BUSM and gives advice to future generations of physicians.
