Current Students Share Ideas to Help Plan for a Diverse Class

Approximately 20 medical students from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds met to plan their participation in the BUSM interview process for the entering class of 2018. During interview season the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs hosts informational sessions addressing diversity and inclusion, and describing opportunities on the Medical Campus. Current medical students are an integral part of this activity, as they are best positioned to exchange ideas with the applicants. By collaborating with current students, the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs enhances the School’s efforts to recruit under-represented minorities and individuals with diversity-related interests.
