Medicine at Boston University

Physiology lab is designed to teach students about the clinical relevance of physiological measurement. The class is split into smaller laboratory groups, each led by a faculty member.


In this class, a student is wired to an Electrocardiogram (ECG), a flow meter, and a phonocardiogram.

Students receive an explanation of how electrical impulses from the ECG correspond to the heart sounds and bloodflow levels.
