This is a one-year, GME-approved, SMSNA clinical and research fellowship in Sexual Medicine (Dr. Munarriz), Reproductive and Transgender Medicine/Surgery (Dr. Oates). The fellowship will provide expert training in the diagnosis and management of male and female sexual dysfunction, male infertility, prosthetic urology, and transgender medicine/surgery utilizing the most modern diagnostic tests and surgical techniques. All clinical activities will be directly supervised by the responsible attending.
Research will involve primarily clinical research in prosthetic urology, erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s Disease, hypogonadism, and reproductive medicine. One day of protected research time is available each week.

- Priapism shunting
- Vulvar surgery
- Microscopic TESE/MESA
- Microscopic vasovasostomy
- Microscopic vasoepididymostomy
- Vasectomy
- Artificial urethral sphincter
- Neovaginoplasty
- Genital remodeling (male to female)
