BUMC-MedSci Program

BUMC-MSP is a series of academic and experiential programs sponsored by

BU Medical Campus Education, Advising and Mentoring in STEM-Medicine (BEAMS).

For FALL 2023, we will be offering “Introduction to Medicine”:

a 5-session program that offers exposure to various fields of medicine in a virtual format

with featured topics such as diabetes, heart disease, and cancer

with medical students from BUMC as instructors.

Open to all high-school students enrolled in Boston Public Schools in grades 9 through 12

who would like to explore careers in healthcare and biomedical sciences.

Dates: Five Saturdays–on 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, and 11/8

Time: 10 am – 12 pm
