🧬Congratulating Dr. Rosalynn Nazarian on her recent grant award!

Dr. Rosalynn Nazarian, is the co-Investigator on a three-year Department of Defense (DoD) Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) project, “Explainable Artificial Intelligence for the Prediction of Melanoma Progression and Survival.”, This project aims to develop a platform to improve prediction of melanoma progression and survival outcomes in patients with stage I–III cutaneous melanoma. The research team will integrate clinical data, electronic health records, histopathology whole-slide images, multiplex immunofluorescence data, and molecular and genetic biomarkers to identify key predictors of disease progression and patient outcomes. The project’s goal is to develop and disseminate predictive models that can help identify patients who may benefit from enhanced surveillance and/or adjuvant therapy, advancing precision medicine approaches in melanoma care.
