Resources and Programs

The Research Professionals Network offers a variety of resources as well as workshops throughout the year. The goal of the Research Professionals Network is to support the professional development of clinical research staff and enhance the quality of research at BMC/BUMC.

Research Professionals Network Workshops
Offered monthly, workshops are a peer-led, collaborative effort and are focused on topics that are relevant to research professional staff including coordinators and managers.

Clinical Research Reference Guide
The RPN Clinical Research Reference Guide provides new and existing study team members with essential details regarding procedures, regulations, platforms, systems, and more that are necessary for the conduct of research at BMC/BUMC.

Onboarding Checklist
The RPN Onboarding Checklist was developed to aid hiring managers in identifying essential steps for onboarding a new team member. It encompasses tasks pertinent to most new research recruits at BMC/BUMC.

Study Documentation Tools
Documents in template form are available for managing participant-related and regulatory-related documentation as part of ICH GCP and general best practices. Further guidance on Study Documentation is also available in the SOP specifically on Essential Research Documents.
