Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health

Global mental health focuses on improving access to evidence-based mental health care in under-resourced settings, specifically low- and middle-income countries. Developing long-term, bidirectional collaborations is identified as a key component of ethical engagement in global health. Using Ukraine as a case study, this presentation will offer insights into the development of successful global partnerships and examples of how strong professional relationships are critical in working towards improving global health equity, including during emergent humanitarian situations.

Learning Objectives:
    1. Describe key ethical principles associated with successful global partnerships.
    2. Discuss the process through which a global partnership was established with parties in the Ukraine.
    3. Discuss the work that is being done by the speaker and her team in Ukraine.
